Roadrunners have three earn All-South Coast Conference softball honors
Following the close of the regular season, three members of the Rio Hondo College softball team were recognized with All-South Coast Conference postseason awards.
Freshman outfielder Alyssa Pallan tops the list, earning second-team All-SCC honors while freshman catcher Tatyana Caudillo-Wilson and freshman pitcher Deliliah Perez earned honorable mention accolades.
Pallan put together a solid first season for the Roadrunners. She led Rio Hondo with a .402 batting average while posting 33 hits, 12 walks, 4 doubles, 3 triples, and 13 RBI. Even more impressive, she struck out just six times in 82 at bats.
Caudillo-Wilson hit .269 with 18 hits, 14 walks, and 13 RBI while Perez pitched all 34 games for Rio Hondo and totaled 80 strikeouts.
